Join us on Sat., April 3, 2010 at Station Camp High School in Gallatin as Peace Community Church hosts the third annual “Big Ol' Egg Drop,” an event to benefit the “No Child Left Without Initiative” -- a program of Sumner County Schools committed to helping kids and families in need. Things are BIGGER and BETTER this year. More eggs, more food, and more games.
Twenty-thousand eggs, filled with candy and toys, will be dropped from a helicopter, and children will be able to run onto the field and “find” them. Younger children and older children will be grouped accordingly.
There will be inflatable games for the kids. The Easter Bunny will be there, and parents will be able to take free pictures. Chick-fil-A will also be there selling food and drinks.
Admission is free, but people are encouraged to bring monetary donations that will go directly to the “No Child Without Initiative.”
The Big Ol' Egg Drop will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is invited. If you’re interested in serving as a volunteer for this event, please contact Michael O’Neal (528-1321) or michael@peacecc.org.
